Our mission is to improve the living conditions of the farmers who produce our cacao while encouraging people to live organically for better health.
We strive to promote a healthy lifestyle through nature by using natural resources effectively and responsibly. We aim to start a conscious movement to reduce and reuse food waste, and to foster innovation in self-made natural products.
Supporting Farmers and Bio Fair Trade
We are committed to offering farmers fair prices—an increase of 50% above the domestic price—through
human fair trade. This approach allows us to work directly with farmers, eliminating intermediaries and ensuring they receive a fair income. With these fair prices, farmers can invest in better facilities and improve the quality of their products.
Empowering Organic Producers
RI Institute has implemented a project to guide farmers in transforming unique organic raw materials, especially their own cacao, into value-added products. This initiative, backed by strategic investments, has positively impacted farmers’ livelihoods by strengthening their position in the market with one-of-a-kind products.
Our Growing Network
Currently, we work with over 2
,200 producers of organic cacao and other organic products from the north, south, and central regions of Esmeraldas province. These producers collectively supply approximately
12,000 boxes of 45 kilograms of dry cacao per 3 moths—enough to fill one container.
More producers are joining our project every day, expanding the reach and impact of our mission.
